Ulm, Germany

Where History Touches the Sky♥︎

Ulm is a large city located on the Danube with over 100,000 residents in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. The university town is located on the southeastern edge of the Swabian Alb on the border with Bavaria. Ulm is known for its Gothic cathedral, whose church tower is the highest in the world at over 160 meters. The old fishing district is also one of the city’s highlights. Ulm is also the birthplace of Albert Einstein.

The good location of Ulm should also be highlighted as the city is in the center of the south and it only takes a few hours to get to many neighboring countries, but the city is also perfect for day trips to the mountains. Of course there is a lot to explore and enjoy here. Among other things, the Swabian culinary offering is a mix of hearty and sweet cuisine. If you come to Ulm you should definitely try Maultaschen, Käsespätzle or Schupfnudeln.
