Piran, Slovenia

Jewel of Slovenia’s Coast♥︎

The city of Piran is known for its long pier and Venetian architecture. Probably the most beautiful city on the Slovenian Adriatic coast, with only 4,000 inhabitants. Numerous beautiful beaches await beach vacationers in and around Piran. With its beautiful Tartini Square where life flourishes or the old city walls from where you have the perfect view of the city, Piran is an extraordinary place in Slovenia.

It is important to note that Piran is car-free. There are also no parking spaces at the hotels themselves. You have to park in one of the parking garages, which are about 5-10 minutes away from to the town by foot. Did you know that Piran is also called the city of salt? Legend has it that the city grew up on salt. Piran is also considered one of the most photogenic cities on the Adriatic coast.
