Koper is a Slovenian port city with around 25.000 inhabitants and is located on the country’s Adriatic coast. Koper is also known as the city of a thousand suns, which adorn the medieval Venetian palaces. It is the largest city on the Slovenian coast and at the same time it has the largest and most important port in the country. There are also some beautiful sights that you should definitely check out. It is a city with a special charm and flair.

This lovely place is also a good starting point to explore the surrounding region. For example, to the other two beautiful coastal towns of Piran and Izola or maybe even to Trieste in Italy, just 20 kilometers away. Simply stroll along the long promenade or enjoy a cool drink in one of the countless good bars and café’s.
