An enchanting city with around 240,000 inhabitants, located in the Carpathian Mountains in the Transylvania region. The city is a popular tourist destination, not only because of its historic old town, but also because of its proximity to nature. Brașov has a well-preserved medieval old town, surrounded by city walls and towers, bringing the history of Brașov to life.

An important historical building and striking landmark of the city is the Protestant Black Church, built in 1477. Brașov has a harmonious mix of traditional charm and modern city life. A popular place and meeting point here is the Town Hall Square (Piaţa Sfatului) with its cobbled streets in the old town and colorful baroque buildings. A cool and hip city surrounded by lots of greenery.

Brașov is a very easy city to reach. Whether by plane, bus, train or car. The easiest and cheapest option is usually to fly to Bucharest Airport and then travel to Brașov by train or bus. If you want more flexibility, a rental car is a good choice.
