The city is located not far from the border with Germany. Szczecin is very easy to reach by train and bus. There are trains running daily to many cities in Poland and Germany.
You can travel here all year round. However, the months between May and October are particularly noteworthy and are the most pleasant for a trip to Szczecin.
It is a relatively inexpensive city. Whether it is hotels, restaurants, sights or entrance fees, the city has definitely a very good value for money.
We recommend spending a night here. Accommodation is relatively cheap and you can easily explore the city within one day.
