Mallorca is an absolute dream destination in Europe. Great sandy beaches with turquoise water await you when you visit one of the most beautiful places in Spain. The island is the largest of the Balearic Islands and seventh largest in the Mediterranean. Mallorca is located around 170 kilometers from mainland Spain near Barcelona. The island is characterized by mountains, sea and unique flora and fauna. Did you know that there are over 200 wonderful beaches in Mallorca? In addition to many picturesque towns and villages, the capital Palma should of course be mentioned, which impresses with great restaurants, fancy café’s and awesome bars. Beautiful streets and small alleys of the city, which has around 400,000 inhabitants, are also an absolute highlight. Mallorca is a great destination overall and is also a great starting point to explore the Balearic Islands region.

Why you should Travel to Mallorca

For us, Mallorca is simply the most beautiful island in Europe, also because it is our home. There are many beautiful places in Europe and Mallorca is undoubtedly one of them. It is far more than just a beach destination. It’s the quiet mornings in stone villages, the winding roads through the mountains, and the hidden calas that feel like your own little escape.

We just love it here!
The island invites you to slow down, to follow the light, and to enjoy simple moments, good food, warm evenings, and endless views. Mallorca stays with you long after you’ve left, and that’s why it will always be one of the greatest places in our opinion.

How to get to Mallorca

Since Mallorca is an island, it is generally only accessible by plane or ferry/boat. However, the Balearic island has excellent air and sea connections and is easily reachable from many parts of Europe, whether you’re looking for the fastest route or a more scenic journey.
