Pilsen, Czechia

Where tradition meets innovation ♥︎

Pilsen is a city in the west of Czechia. It is known for the Pilsner Urquell brewery. The breweries turned Pilsen into a beer metropolis. But the city also has more to offer, among other things, Pilsen has an old town that is well worth seeing, a historical underground, museums and a cathedral with a huge main square, the Republic Square. Also a truly remarkable cuisine with good traditional food.

The former cultural capital is one of the largest cities in Czechia. Many parks invite you to relax and in the center there are beautiful historic houses and many other highlights. In addition to a small lake and a few café’s, various gardens have also been created here. The city has a fairly good infrastructure and is easy to reach by car, bus or train. Pilsen is perfect for a weekend trip.
