Český Krumlov is one of the most enchanting towns in Czechia. The small town on the Vltava has around 13,000 inhabitants and is located around 25 kilometers from Budweis. Český Krumlov is also not far from the borders with Austria and Germany. Today the town is a listed building and its magnificent old town has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. The town was built around the famous bend of the Vltava river and is now one of the most beautiful places in Czechia.

Český Krumlov is worth a visit at any time of year. But the region around the city in Bohemia is also considered one of the most beautiful and best for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, climbing and many others. Here you can discover deep forests, historic castles, clear rivers and lots of untouched nature. The city’s landmark is without a doubt the castle and palace complex, which towers over the city, embedded in mountains and the Vltava.
