Where is Theth?
Theth is located in northern Albania, deep in the Albanian Alps within Shkodër County. The village sits about 75 kilometers from Shkodër, but the scenic mountain drive takes around 2-3 hours due to winding roads.
Surrounded by dramatic peaks, forests, and clear rivers, Theth feels wonderfully remote. Despite its wild setting, it’s one of Albania’s most beautiful mountain destinations and a starting point for the famous Theth to Valbona hike. We love how peaceful it feels a small village completely embraced by nature.
