Here you’ll find a beautiful gorge, winding along narrow roads and imposing high rock formations. The Bicaz Gorge is also part of the Neamt National Park, located in the Eastern Carpathian Mountains. The gorge connects the regions of Moldova and Transylvania and was formed by the Bicaz River, which carves its way through the rock. The high cliffs surrounding the gorge rise up to 300 meters above the river in some places. The place is very popular with nature lovers and photographers, as well as with locals and tourists.
A striking feature of the place is the narrow road that leads through this unique village. This winding road offers spectacular views, charming typical Romanian market stalls, and interesting sights. Not far from the gorge is the popular Red Lake (Lacu Rosu). The region also boasts a fascinating Vlora and its fauna. It is also a popular destination for hikes and climbing tours, including along the canyon to a cool suspension bridge.
